On finding an intelligent girl
One of those moments of triumph where you feel like scaling a mountaintop, planting your feet, thrusting your fist into the wind, and shouting a cry heard by no-one but the nature around you.

Biopsychology
One interesting fact I've learned in biopsychology: Testosterone not only works to focus our attention on certain types of body language (be they aggressive or sexual) but it's also present whenever we wish punishment on someone for their wrongdoings. Which is something I admittedly feel commonly. "Focus." "Strength." How useful a thing to be made aware of. Of my biological "gift" which enamors selfish and harmful behavior...definitely not the kind of person I want to be. Knowledge is power. If knowledge is power, than intuition must be...something else that sounds pretty cool.

Thinking
Just a little while ago, I was looking for one of my paintbrushes in a set of drawers that I remembered it being in. After persisting somewhat in my search, lifting up stacks of paper, pencils, office supplies, etc. (Finding all sorts of things I wasn't looking for, I suppose) I absent minded-ly decided to begin searching elsewhere, and as I was standing up, lo and behold, there was my paintbrush, in a cup of pens and other random vertical crap.
Point being, that it occurred to me that no matter how much I search for something in the wrong place, I will never find it.
Beginning to evaluate the assumptions that I make about how to achieve things such as genuine happiness, love, even food, if I'm going about my search in a misguided or random way, I'll never achieve my goals.
Thinking metaphorically is what's going to save my life, I think, and this is an interesting talk from a professional standpoint, on how people are even able to make those associations. (Well, the last thing he talks about in the speech is, anyway.)

I think I might actually use this.
Seeing as I don't make journal entries on paper anymore, a lot of my thoughts I learn from and never share. Typing them publicly would not only give someone extremely bored something to read, but would probably help me develop those ideas more!
